Teresa Elliott was born in a small Texas town outside of Ft. Worth TX. After college she moved to Dallas and worked mainly in the fashion industry as an illustrator including Neiman Marcus. Largely self-taught, she focused on learning the skills necessary to develop her innate love of figurative drawing, that eventually included a particular interest in cows. She lives and works in far west Texas.
She has exhibited her work in many galleries and museums both nationally and internationally. In the US these include The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, the National Wildlife Museum, Briscoe Western Museum, the Butler Institute of American Art and the Salmagundi Club NY.
