Born 1986 in Los Angeles, California then raised in Glendale, Arizona where at the age of seven, Sissòn began their creative curriculum under the tutelage of their mother Kimberlin who suddenly passed away in 2006. Seduced by thug ambitions, hard-living and street life, Sissòn subsequently abandoned their practice for almost a decade before returning in 2015 with their first solo show Ivory Gold Slaves. They've since independently produced and self-funded another six solo shows, have been featured in numerous publications, placed in some of the world's most prestigious collections and were recruited by the Smithsonian for Men Of Change, a traveling exhibition touring twenty-three museums throughout the United States.
